About Amy Lianne Photos

Hi! I'm Amy, a Northamptonshire based photographer specialising in performer portfolios and confidence boosting shoots, as well as social media marketing!

My work is always rooted in helping people feel comfortable and confident in themselves and in their own body. Whether that's building a strong industry portfolio or capturing something more personal to boost confidence. Seeing people's reactions to how incredible they look in the images from their shoots makes me happier than ever.

BRANDS

Alongside photography, I'm the founder of two confidence based clothing brands (EDGY JAYD and Amora Jayd), which has given me a strong background in visual identity, self-expression, and social media growth. That experience naturally feeds into my shoots, allowing me to guide clients not just on posing, but on presence, energy, and how they want to be seen.

DANCE BACKGROUND

I have danced my whole life, so naturally all of my poses are rooted in dance since those movements feel so natural to me. I'm not professionally trained or advanced by any means, but dance was my life blood growing up, and the technical parts never truly leave. I did ballet and tap as a much younger child (ages 4-7), and I trained rhythmic gymnastics for 8 years, 5 of which were at a specific rhythmic gymnastics club before moving to a dance school that had a wider range of styles. I then went on to do multiple years of jazz, street, commercial, contemporary jazz fusion, and a couple of years of drama and musical theatre.

I launched my first brand when I had just turned 17, and was able to start creating cool poses at shoots, using my dance background, to make my brand stand out from the rest. This has has gradually morphed into Amy Lianne Photos. Cool poses for dancers that look bold but feel so natural.

BEGINNERS

I always aim to create an environment where everyone feels seen, confident, and represented in a way that feels true to them. At ALP, there is nothing to be nervous about! I know how daunting it can be to go into a new situation, at a new place, to do your first ever photoshoot, but I am very used to working with beginners and will guide you every step of the way, and be your photographer bestie for the session.

I have worked with many beginners through the years of finding models for my brand, as well as all of my photography clients.
